The University of Iowa College of Law’s Environmental Moot Court Team advanced to the quarterfinals this spring at the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (NELMCC) at Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law. The student team consisted of advocates Alex LeLouis (3L), Jonathan Lewallen (3L), and Zachary Sides (3L) under the coaching of Adjunct Instructor Ingrid Gronstal.

"Participating in the environmental moot court team was a wonderful opportunity to explore environmental and administrative law," said Jonathan Lewallen. "I know that the entire team is incredibly grateful for the support that allowed us to travel to the competition."

In addition to the team's strong performance, Alex LeLouis was awarded Best Oralist in one of the competition's rounds. The team’s success would not have been possible without the dedicated preparation and mentorship from faculty, alums, and coaches, who provided invaluable guidance throughout the competition. Thank you to all who supported them in this achievement.

Congratulations to the entire Iowa Law Environmental Moot Court Team for their outstanding performance!
