This Spring semester, Iowa Law’s first environmental moot court team competed in the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (NELMCC) at Pace University’s The Elisabeth Haub School of Law. The student team consists of advocates Spencer Culver (3L), Sophia Gustafson (3L), Samantha Savala (3L). 

In the oral arguments at Pace University in February, each Iowa Law team member won Best Oralist in the preliminary rounds of the competition.

As a team, Iowa Law advanced past preliminary rounds by scoring enough points to qualify for the Quarterfinal Round.
